2010 BTCC Indy Champion Tom Chilton returns to the Kent-based team in 2019, fresh off the back of a successful debut season in the Ford Focus RS that saw the Surrey-based driver finish 3rd in the Drivers’ Championship, and as runner-up in the Independent Standings.
After making his BTCC debut at just 17 years old, as the youngest ever driver on the BTCC grid at the time, Tom made history just two years later – becoming the youngest race winner the series had seen and has since racked up an impressed accolade of 14 race wins, 49 podiums and 12 pole positions.
With over 15 years of experience racing TinTops, Tom went on to forge a successful career in the World Touring Car Championship – finishing third overall against the might of the manufacturer-backed competitors, before making his highly-anticipated return to the BTCC grid in 2016, after a five year absence.
